Annie Leibowitz Takes Photos Of Sean Connery
October 10, 2008
When Sean Connery was 22 (back in 1952) he was even more good looking then he is now and he was in great condition physically. He used his this well toned body to model at colleges and to win third place in the Mr. Universe competition.
Now he is 78 and even though he might have lost a little of the muscles that made his physique almost perfect he still has a handsome face that can charm any woman. He posed for an extra special portrait for the famous Anne Leibowitz. Leibowitz is considered to be the world’s top portrait photographer and has even taken pictures of the Queen herself.
Connery was pictured lounging on an old wooden jetty close to his home in the Bahamas. In the picture he is adorned in a long-sleeved polo-neck sweater and a Panama hat and chinos. On the ground near his feet is a waterproof version of the “Keepall’ travel bag from Louis Vuitton.
“There are journeys that turn into legends,” reads the tagline, referencing Louis Vuitton’s long history of association with exceptional people from Empress Eugénie to Ernest Hemingway. Obviously this photo shoot was promotional for Louis Vuitton’s Core Values’ campaign which is benefiting The Climate Project that is set up by Al Gore.
