Coach PatchworkAs women we can never have to much of a great thing. That is why our closets are stuffed full of shoes of every shape, style, and color. The same goes for pocketbooks. I tell my husband once a month that I need a new purse to fit my various styles.

Real Or Temporary Tattoos?

I love it when people watch me and ask me what my tattoo implies. When I made the decision to receive a tattoo I didn’t wish the pain that followed along with it – but I desired it in a place where people could see it. In other words I wanted to display it off and express to them that I wasn’t embarrassed of what I did.

That is why it comes as no surprise to me that the second question people will ask me is how painful it was. For some people this is the one thing that holds them back from getting a tattoo of their dreams. No one wants to deal with the pain of it and the fact that it is stamped permanently – or at least semi-permanently – on your body is a big deal for most of us. Read the rest of this entry »

Some of the biggest names in fashion include; Marc Jacobs, Louis Vuitton, and of course Calvin Klein. But do you ever wonder how these brilliant designers got their start?

Calvin Klein began designing and sketching different types of clothes for women when he was only a young boy during the late 1940’s. This talent was able to help him through New York High School of Art and Design as well as the Fashion Institute of Technology.
