Wedding Design Ideas
September 28, 2010
There are a couple of days in our lives that we will always remember for as long as we live. One that resides on the very top of our list for several years is our wedding day. As a woman I know that I was unbelievably excited to be united to the perfect man. At the time we were unable to do the usual ceremony because there just wasn’t the money for it. However, that hasn’t kept us from planning our 5th anniversary reception!
Wedding Dress
The main thing I regret the most about having such a simple ceremony was not being able to go shopping for an elegant wedding dress. Now is the time that I am able to make up for it. Visit contrasting stores and try on a smorgasbord of trends. Bring someone with you who will take pictures and give you an honest feeling of how you appear in it.
You will also have to select what colors you will utilize. This will assist you to know what the bridesmaids will be wearing. Seek to select a style that all the girls can pull off.
Food
The food is really the easiest part of the entire thing. To save money – but to keep things exquisite it is best to have a buffet style reception. However, there will be tables scattered throughout the hall for people to sit down at. There they will be able to consume finger sandwiches, vegetables, fruit, cheese platters, and a whole mixture of other fabulous foods.
Reception Décor
The worst part of it all is deciding what type of wedding centerpieces to utilize and how I would embellish the tables. I decided to use candles and white tablecloths. These go great together and give an elegant appearance to it all.
